For engagement parties, most people will opt for a cocktail dress. Usually engagement parties are relatively small and are a lot more casual than the wedding. I love the idea of wearing white, to continue the bridal theme throughout all celebrations, but we have some gorgeous cocktail dresses which will be perfect for your event.
These are two of our newest arrivals and by far my favourites for an engagement party cocktail dress. I absolutely love the white lace detail and the fact these both look like cocktail length bridal gowns. The nude lining highlights the white lace and I love the floor length lace. The bodice comes in two different styles, for different kinds of coverage and cleavage as well!

Shona Joy is one of our newest labels at Fashionably Yours and they have some gorgeous cocktail dresses, perfect for engagement parties. The style is quite different from Elle Zeitoune and are a bit more casual if you're engagement party is during the day or something smaller. Shona Joy is great, as each style dress will come in up to 19 colours, making them perfect for bridesmaids dresses as well. The emerald green colour is very in this season, and the porcelain nude colour is a nice classic colour.

If you're engagement party is more formal or at night time, then a full length formal dress might be a better option for you. A lot of couples who have destination weddings have bigger engagement parties, so all those who can't attend the wedding overseas can still celebrate with them before hand. These formal gowns are both available in other colours, but I do love them both in white! A lot of people wear these gowns as second wedding dresses, or if their wedding isn't very formal, will opt for a style like these.
